Hi All,

I had an absolutely horrible migraine yesterday.

I had friends in town and we had tickets to a basketball game so I was desperate to get rid of it if I could.

I took one Midrin and it didn't do the trick, so I took another one.

Eventually it pretty much went away after that, however my question is this.

can Midrin sometimes cause you to be jittery and not sleep?

It says on the bottle it can cause drowsyness, which it did!!!  But then when I finally laid down to sleep I was up all night long I kind of felt like the medicine made my heart race.

Could this be?

Lauren

I tried it a couple of times for my migraines and it didn't work at all. But it seemed like it hyped me up. I never got sleepy on it.

I used to be on amitriptiline, I went off it and lost 30lbs in 3 weeks, I never realized it was why I put on so much weight. I am sure everyone is different. I use duradrin for pain but doesn't always help. I usually need demerol to get rid of a bad one if duradrin and Amerge does not help. Does anyone else have problems getting strong pain medication from their doctor?

have any of you heard of becoming depressed with Midrin? I seem to still be struggling with tension in my head but now I feel very dazed and reality seems dreamlike. I can't focus on people's faces and I feel like I hear sounds categorized by changes in amplitudes and pitch. But right now my head doesn't hurt much but I feel like crying.
