Based on the clinical studies with vitamin b2 on migraines and articles on the possible role of mitochondrial dysfunction on the pathogenesis of migraines, I am planning to take riboflavin 400 mg/day as a prophylactic agent for chronic migraine.

My question to those who take this: Do you take the 400 mg at once, or do you divide the dose? I am planning to take all at once.

Another question: Would a lesser amount work equally well?

Thanks.

i used to take 200 mg of B2 and it really helped. vitamin B2 may upset your stomach unless you take it with food - try it and see. it will also make your pee bright yellow so be careful about white pants!!
