I have now been having horrible headaches for about 2 years.  I have seen 7 doctors and been told all kinds of crap that basically means they don't know what to do.  I was diagnosed with chronic sinus problems and even had sinus surgery.  This has in no way helped with the headache pain.

I visited the emergency room last night because I was out of imitrex and needed a shot.  The doctor felt my neck and said I have muscular problems in my neck that are causing the pain.  He cracked my neck and back and I instantly felt a little relief.  Of coarse i did not feel better untill after the shot.

I am having problems gaining information on headaches caused from cervical spasms.  Has anyone ever heard of this or can anyone offer any information.

I am going to see a new docter today and am working on a personal case history to take with me.  I would like to know more about this condition before I see him.

Thanks

Hello: I am new at this site. I wanted to ask you about your migraines and neck pain. What is your neck and back pain like and does it usually hurt with your head? I suffer with migraines and I also have neck pain and back pain with them. I can also get neck pain without the migraines. The neck pain is all a big mystery to me as well. I was misdiagnosed at first by 2 other doctors and a chiropractor until I went to see an neurosurgeon and he told me to see a neurologist and I did and that is when I was told I am am experiencing occipital migraines. I am currently on topamax but this doesn't help at all!! I hope something does. I was just wondering what your neck and head feels like maybe we can relate. I hope things get better for you soon and I hope you find someone who can help. Stay determined. That is my best advice.

Stay strong
