It’s been 5 days where I had a headache. It hurts so bad to the point where I want to bang my head on the wall. It’s all around my head. I’ve tried every remedies, painkillers, meditation, relaxing, the hot and cold solution, and nothing seems to work. I wake up and my headache is at about 25% and ends up getting worse and worse through out the day. By 9 pm my headache is at its worst and keeps on worsening. It’s hard to fall asleep sometimes. I can’t see a doctor by myself because I’m only 15 (male) and my parents won’t take me. Somebody please tell me what might be wrong and what I should do I’m worried!! shakehead shakehead

It's terrible that your parents won't take you to see someone. What is their reasoning? Have you tried taking an OTC NSAID? You really need to see a specialist to find out why this is happening and get treatment. Please try not to worry, I am sure it is just your genetic makeup. I get migraines because my mom gets them.

How old are you?

I now it is hard to go against your parents, but if you are getting headaches that bad you need medical attention.

you have choices:

Talk to the nurse or wellness center at school

when the pain becomes unbearable at home, call 911 and try to get outside and wait for them. I understand this is scary with your parents at home to. but you reached out here, you can this. You have rights and you are courageous

I know that when the pain gets over a 10 on a scale of one to ten, there are no tears, it beyond that.

If there is abuse at home, such as someone hitting you in the head, you have to tell someone. You can go to the police station tell them, tell them about the severe daily pain. I understand the fear of this happening. of telling someone the secret. But it is different today, someone will listen to you. People care and will help.

You may have cluster headaches, or something else,

your need to be examined by a neurologist.

I wish you Peace and strength
