Welcome to the forum Aaron
You mentioned multiple specialists, did this include a diagnostic eye specialist and a diagnostic neurologist?
You must realize that what I say is from my experience only. I am in now way clinically trained in the medical field. Ok?
First calm down, 99% of what we fear, never happens. It is the unknown factor that produces the fear and we can not control that.
I have ocular neuralgia, along with chronic daily migraine pain. Stress will only increase the pain.
You might be experiencing in colors are auras, I have them all the time, like a kaleidoscope! 30 min every morning, I can barely see. I have learned to meditate and enjoy the colors till they dissipate. You may be experiencing some kind of migraines I have never heard of.
Also I have allergies that cause severe head pain, I am allergic to food dyes, yellow, blue and red. So I have to read all labels when food shopping, you start to learn what you can and can't eat. It is frustrating at first because that crap is in everything.
I put myself on a whole food diet. NO artificial ingredients, 32oz of water a day, with fruit juice to mix it up sometimes. Lots of dark greens, roasted veggies, red meat is a rarity. Lots of grains.
I think it helps a lot. NO caffeine, peanut butter, chocolate, reduced salt and sugar, potato chips .
I urge you to keep looking for a doctor that will help you, call and make appointments and the best hospitals around you, go out of state as far as you can afford.
Stay off the internet and self diagnosing, that will only make you catastrophise.
I want to share a link with you about how to reduce pain and become accepting of it, while you are searching for an answer. It has taken me 10 years to get correct dx and treatment. Now without Tylenol 3 for break thru severe pain, I am going on a medical marajuana program. We will see. I just keep trying.
Aaron I urge you to look at this site and read some of the articles if possible or have someone read them to you. I use mindfulness everyday, I could not function with out it.
I wish you strength and peace
