Just wanted to stop off and introduce myself.  Im 29 years old an have been having at least 1 migraine a month for the past year and a half.

I am at such a complete loss as to what to do.  I live in a very small town in southern IL and it seems all the Dr.s here either dont know what to do, don't care, or just don't believe me.

Hi Sweep, sorry to hear you are having a hard time with the docs. Have you tried keeping a diary of your headaches? I couldn't get a doctor to take me seriously enough until I had this sort of proof. I keep a record of how long it lasts, dated of course. What strength the pain is i.e. on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the worst pain you could ever imagine, and any other symtoms that came with it like nausea vomiting etc. Hope you find this helpful. Ann

Yeah I have had a diary for a while now. We're in a small town with 95% foreign Drs
That's not to say anything bad mind you, but the communication is just to difficult.
I just went to my new Dr. and she told me after just one month there was nothing more they were willing to do for me.

They had me on Welbutrin wich I had to stop taking, I was getting blurred vision, Nadolol (beta blocker) and Imitrex.

So now they're pushing me off onto a Dr at a pain clinic wich as fate would have it is an a** and really isn't all that understanding (he was my childhood GP)

Sigh
