Anyone try Botox for migraine while on Stelara?

I'm wondering if anyone here has tried Botox injections for migraines while also on Stelara? (I'm on Stelara for Crohn's Disease and also posted my question on the Crohn's forum). If yes, did you have any bad side effects from the Botox?

In addition to having Crohn's, I've had migraines since I was a child. With all the medications I take for migraines, I still get about 2 per week, so my Neurologist is considering Botox injections as a preventive. I'm just wondering about the safety of this neurotoxin while on a biologic.

I'd be grateful for any input. Thanks!

Blossom, I did a check at Drugs.com on both Stelara & Botox and found no interactions using both medications. This site has an extensive list of drug interactions like no other site.

I do have a friend that is a former member here & she has had great success with Botox for nearly 2 years. She says the injections are not comfortable but you get use to it & it's worth the success. Her dr does have to battle her insurance every year for approval, it's an expensive drug.
