I’m so tired of these headaches. I’ve tried preventatives, Injections, everything. I just can’t shake them. Last month I had 13 headaches and that’s with my first Boston injection. Right now I’m going on 4 days with a migraine.

My question is do you push through and do you daily activities or do you give in?

I just feel so exhausted. Every day I go to bed thinking it’ll be better tomorrow and it’s not. I have a 2 year old and I have to take care of her - my husband is so great at helping but I want to be present for her. I don’t want my life to pass me by. So like I said before- do I just push through and pretend I’m just not in pain, agony? Or do I lay in bed and hope it goes away?

Have you called your dr, if not I would put in a call. I'm not sure if Botox injections are suppose to work fast or not. I have a friend that's been doing great for 2 years with Botox.

Take care.

I did call my doc. She said that Botox might take two or even three times for it to work. I’ve tried two of the three medications you’ve suggested- one of them I can’t take bc of another medication that I’m on.

I had 17 headaches last month and I’ve had 10 this month (and it’s only Nov 14). It’s so frustrating and debilitating. I have a 2 year old and I want to be present for her. I just don’t know what else to do.

Doggie

I am sorry you have to deal with the pain.

This reply is longer than I ever write. I hope you read all of it, and I have a few links at the Bottom. Please breath slow, I am telling you what I have done. If you can take strength or hope from it that was my goal.
If you want to talk about the pain etc.... my email is on profile.

I don't know where you live, here near Philly, we still have Oxygen Bars. Amazingly open during this time.
O2 takes my pain level from 10+ to a 6 which is manageable for me now, since my pain has be 24 /7 since 2007.
Migraine is not billable for Oxygen, so it can not be. prescribed for home use.

People with chronic pain, can withstand so much more than others. The thing we do' is give up on ourselves! A million times plus, I said "I can't take this pain. I am worthless" " Can't even cook dinner...." things millions of others people have said.

When this happens I rest, I had a 4 year period, doc died suddenly, 4 new ones in 18mos. 4th took.
on the 2 new doc I actually told someone what's the use, they are all the same, no meds are going to help me.

Links I have/do use to research and keep on new treatments, and discoveries.

Thank you for your reply. I’ve never thought of pure oxygen. I guess the closest thing I could do is get outside and breathe deeply (I say with a smile)? I don’t even know if we have those in our area but when my head is at its worst I know I would try anything. My husband even suggested a chiropractor or the acupuncture. I know my insurance would cover the chiropractor. Worth a shot once this covid stuff goes away, but who knows when that will be.

I’ve noticed a significant increase in the pain in my neck and shoulders so I think it might have to do with my home office ergonomics since I’m not “in” the office, which my also contribute to the increase in headaches. I’ve been trying to stretch more and just this week (only 3x) I did some gentle yoga stretching to see if that might help. I’m literally trying anything!

Thank you for those websites as well. I will check them out now.

In early days
I saw a chiropractor who had a neuro background

It did help had to stop seeing him do to C-PTSD

TRIED acupuncture 100.00 a week. Also
Worked but on 3 days
Stopped after 6mos, there was no progressive relief

My muscles in neck and shoulders are tight most of the time
Waiting for the episode of severe pain

Search for "body scan"

Once you get the idea, take a few min and relax the muscle, takes less time than you may think

Peace🥰
