Good Afternoon

I am from the Anxiety forum but I thought I would post here. Maybe its a migraine or tension headache I'm experiencing. Here is abit about my symptoms and history. I have been suffering with anxiety for over 30 + years. I am 41 now.

The newest symptom I have been getting from 3 years ago which it stopped and returned full force the last couple of months. I can hear my heart beating in my ear and head it is very clear and sounds like my heart beat.

When this happens my ear plug up and i feel horrible head pressure that i cannot not move. I feel like I'm going to loose consciousness. its a very scary feeling. Like I'm stuck in my body and can not come out of it until I calm down.

I have been taking clonazepam half of it when it happens and after 10 mins I start to feel a bit normal again.

I am terrified that I have a brain tumor or brain cancer or anyerisum happening. Literally all those symptoms start happening at once. I literally try to find my purse take half a clonazepam and call someone to talk to and pace back in forth in my hallway until I feel a bit normal. 3 years ago I did go for test I had a CT Scan, MRI and MRA on my brain because of the Heart beating in my ear and got headaches from it.

I saw 2 ENT, and Neurologist all normal. But for the life of me i cannot remember if it made me feel the way I do like I'm going to pass out and lose consciousness and blocked like I couldn't walk straight or sit because of pressure.

Does this sound like any kind of Headache? Please if anyone has experienced this please respond. I don't know what to do. I am terrified.

Edited into paragraphs so I could read

Bambola,
Welcome....

First....calm down.

Do your breathing exercises.... slow in through the nose 1. 2. 3. 4.
Out through the mouth slowly, 1 2 3 4 5

Longer exhale will naturally calm your system down.

Its sounds as if something could be raising or lowering your blood pressure at times.

Best thing to do is take a practical approach. Once you have a bit of information to give to the doc, perhaps answers can be found.

Keep track of symptoms:
What is happening, pain, dizzy, nausea etc.
Time of day
Weather
Events
Your mood
Have you eaten?
If so what and beverage

Ask your doc or therapist of grounding skills.

I wish peace

You think this is a blood pressure issue?? I never had high blood pressure. Every single Time I go to the dr. She checks my pressure and it’s always normal. So I can’t see that being and Issue plus I would get other symptoms of blood pressure was high maybe frequent headaches ? I don’t know all I know is I don’t like the way I feel it scares me

Please read my post again...slowly.

Blood pressure was a miniscule
amount of information I gave. I did not say it was the issue, I would not know, I am not a doctor

Call your doctor and discuss effects
Anxiety and depression can have on a person. The skills for coping I suggested.

Blood pressure rising, do to panic attacks for example. Doesn't mean you necessarily have high blood pressure.

These discussions with docs and people prescribing meds are useful so you are aware.

If you are not in therapy I highly recommend it. I am in therapy. And it has helped so much.
Peace and strength

Did they check for pulsatile tinnitus? It mimics a heartbeat in your ear, it is something that I have suffered from in the past. I agree with Trina, you need to relax and take a deep breath - your stress level isn't helping the situation.
