Since early January I have been experiencing what I would describe as these pulses in my right temple area. It only lasts for about a second. I might have a couple more a minute apart or so, then no more until the next 'attack', which might be a few hours or days later. They're not terribly painful, but they get my attention. Sometimes, there's a slight headachiness/uneasiness to the same right temple area. There have also been some days where the headache pressure in this temple area was enough to cause me to take an asprin.

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this type of thing.

Welcome Westside😎

1st and foremost, make an appointment with your family doc. Talk about this pain, get a physical etc...
Until you see the doc
Keep track of your pain zaps on your phone
Looking for patterns.

I can tell what it may be. Only from my experience I'm not clinical. Perhaps you can do short meditation called a body scan.
I'll leave a link below for you.
So here is what stress worry, grief, trauma and so on can cause
Creating pain in temples

*Grinding teeth
*Pushing tongue against teeth or roof of mouth
*Tension

I hope this helps

I found one neurological doctor who charges $500 per visit.
I doubt that my family doc could be much of any help unless they also specialize in headaches. My main purpose to see a doc would be to find out which of the 150 types of headaches I actually have. It would be nice to have a name for the type of headache that I have.
If it's a migraine that I have, there is no 'cure' for it -- Just meds to mask the pain. From my research, it seems rare that I would have a brain cancer. I don't think I actually have a migraine either. I have no other symptoms... not sensitive to light/loud sounds, no nausea/vomiting, vision problems, or any of the other common accompanying issues. My theory is that I have a blood vessel or something that is healing up.

There are "cures" for migraines, if the causative factors are removed.

Example of hundreds
Pressure on trigeminal nerve, piercings, head/neck injury.

I still suggest seeing a doc for an MRI ,not knowing
what is causing this temperal issue is not a good thing

I would see your GP, anyway. I had severe headaches, and some blood tests that showed a possibility that I had temporal arteritis. I had a biopsy that showed I was negative for the condition. I was finally diagnosed with severe arthritis in my neck, which was treated with steroid injections and I have not had any issues since getting the injections in my neck.
