Maybe someone out there can help me!
about 2 years ago I started getting daily eye headaches, the pain was horrible, I suffered for 1 year, went to my dr and he increased my dose of paxil cr and the headaches went away that same day...Well they had a recall on paxil cr and I went on the regular paxil...Got sick with the flu 4 weeks ago and the headaches came back...The dr tried to put me back on the paxil cr but I had a bad reaction to it. So here I am trying to get some anwsers and a possible soultion! I have to go and get a ct scan done.
Ive been reading alot about these headaches and it seems they might be cluster headaches, I only get them when im sleeping and usually around the same time, always in my right eye. I am 26 yrs old, female, smoker, non-drinker.
Anyone got any advice???
Thanks a ton!!!

Hi Jen,

I was having daily night time headaches for quite a while and my neuro put me on amitriptiline (sp? sorry I'm not a speller). It seems to have worked for the most part. I still get my migraine just as much as ever.
Hope you find something that helps.

Jen...

There are many types of headaches....Have you been diagnosed by a physician????

Have you been keeping a diary?

Date and time

Type of Headache (where the pain is)

Specific type of pain (stabbing, pulsating, dull, band etc)

Triggers:

weather

Foods eaten

sleep pattern

I am just curious because this really could be any type of headache just because it is around your eye doesn't necessarily scream "cluster" to me....

Have you had your eyes checked???

Do you have allergies? Have you been checked by a physician?

Just checking basis here...I went through all of this to narrow down a few things...

I am going to post in a few days, with several types of Headaches and some specific things to look for...

I am accepting a new job out of town and it might take me a little longer than I had hoped to get this out...so email me if you would like...
