I am having the strangest "migraine" ever.  There is no pain and I haven't taken any med.  My mind feels almost high.  My ability to use words and cope with my life is coming and going.  I don't feel like I'm all there.  It's like I'm only partly connected to my body.  My eyes switch around from intensely focused to a little blurry and everything seems LOUD.  I basically feel like I'm having a migraine, but I'm not.  I've had some allergy symptoms today and its rainy (I often get them on rainy days.)  I'm not nauseous.  I just feel that swoosh swoosh feeling in the sides and top of my brain.

What is this? Could it be that I'm not having migraines?  boots seemed to think that my various triggers and mishmosh of symptoms didn't add up to migraine, that something else may be wrong.  I am definitely going to my doctor.  I feel like I'm in a dream; I may wake up soon and find I was just having a very ordinary dream.

Anyone else have a large variety of changing symptoms?  Anyone else struggling to narrow down the triggers?  I better see my doctor after all.  I don't have time for MRI's, etc. or money for co-pay's but I guess I have no choice.

O.K. It's about an hour after I first posted, and the pain is starting.  I just took an Excederine.  I hope one will be enough, otherwise I'll be up all night.  Right now its not too bad.  It was so slow in coming, maybe it will be a mild one since I took the pill before the pain got bad.

Wish me luck.

P.S. I'd still like any feedback on the normality of my smattered symptoms.  I'd like to have a good sense of things from you guys before talking to my doctor.

Thanks.

Kate
