I posted a day ago about a strange painless migraine I was having.  The pain started a couple hours later.  I took Excederine.  It lessened the pain and I went to bed.  I dreamt a lot and woke a couple of times through the night.  I woke up with the headache.  I took two Excederine, went to teach vacation Bible School ( the pain came and went all morning especially when things got loud.)  Now I'm home and its getting worse.  It's been managable pain the whole time, but I think I'm just getting exhausted from this ache in my head and mild nausea.  I can cope, but I'm tired.  I hope it ends soon.  Should I take MORE Excederine?  I've never had one last this long and the pills do lessen or negate the pain.  I hope it doesn't last much longer, its mild but sooo long.  I'm trying so hard not to let these take over my life if I can help it.

Thanks for listening.  I think I'll try some icepacks before I take more pills.

Hi Kate,

What does the info that comes with the Excederine say about dosage, got a feeling you cannot have more than two in 24 hours! Also how often do you take this becuase I am concerned that there is an addictive element of this drug, and you may cause rebound headache - I have had that and it is not nice!!! - a very difficult to get rid of!

It is a good idea to go for the icepacks first, well done! Let us know how you get on, hope it goes very soon.

Take care Ann

Kate,

could your headache be Tension type, since you mentioned it's painless?
