I'm struggling with fatigue, I'm assuming it's the new meds, Topomax and inderal. The weekend was terrible, had a migraine from saturday afternoon until this morning. mad   I hate new medication.

Anyways, I've been struggling with fatigue for a few months now and have been blaming it on my medication. Now I have new medication so maybe I can blame it on that NOW. I can hardly make myself get out of bed, I sleep all night, off and on all day, and most of the afternoons. This just isn't me.

I lost my last job because of the headaches, now if I get that under control I don't have the energy to drive myself to work.

Are these normal side affects ? Am I alone ?

I'm just new to the site, but your posting immediately caught my attention.  I have real problems with fatigue as a result of my migraines and the medication as well.  I used to take Topamax, and it really made me tired.  I took it for a few months and although it helped at first, it stopped working for me after awhile so I stopped taking it.  The side effects are really lousy, hey?  I am taking Inderal now, and the side effects aren't so bad, although they do make me tired as well.  I can sure understand how you would be so tired all the time taking both of these medications at once.

I have Fibromyalgia so I do suffer from fatigue quite often. But I also get extremely fatigued prior to and after a severe migraine. I can almost tell when a migraine is coming by the fatigue.

I also take Topomax, have been on it since 2003. It does take awhile to adjust. I take mine at night, about an hour before bed.
