My sleep meds arent' working. They give me huge charlie horses from groin to ankles. I haven't been sleeping obviuosly. My neuro won't call me back and percribe something else. Have tried him 2 days in a row. He doen't want me taking my Xanax (1mg) at night anymore. So, being desperate tonight to get some sleep, I took 4 Restoril, the thing that gives me cramps, 3 esgic Plus, (migraine med), 3-.05mg of Xanax and some Benadryl. I think it's finally starting to kick in. Felling very tired, excuse the typing. I hope this knocks me out for awhile. NEED SLEEP.....

Any advise if I don't hear from him tomorrow? Their office closrs at noon. I want to go in there and rant and rave, stand on someones desk and tell them to FIX me. I'm just emotionally and physically exhausted.

Please help all you can, I trust you all.

Hi, we are the only ones up it seems. I too have problems sleeping. I take Ambien and ativan, both. I have found that some OTC sleep aids, benadryl, phenergan makes my legs cramps. Maybe you should try something other than the resteril, and try ambien, ambien cr, lunesta, soma...just to name a few. don't know what your experience is on that.
Hope you rest. becarefull taking so many meds at once....not to sound bossy, b/c I understand. I often take 2 ambein....know thats bad but I like sleep once its past 4 am....

Slept like a rock last night....know I took too much crap, but I was so desperate to just sleep. Feeling ok this morning, a bit groggy but not bad. Still have heard nothing from my neuro. Ready to switch again but am running out of doctors! I've been to most of them in my area! LOL! ok, not really that funny but if I can't see the humor, then what do I have?

Hi guys,

I don't want to be a wet blanket, and I fully understand the feeling of hunger for sleep as well as understanding about the pain, but take it easy with the meds that aid sleep! Our bodies soon adjust to the meds and demand more, and before we know it there is some addiction that we end up struggling with - been there done that!!!

Hope you can get a good night's sleep tonight Seechell.

take care

Ann
