My son suffers from migraines and I have only experienced migraines when my BP is not controlled.  I don't feel like a migraine right now, just a moderate headache that nothing seems to help and these "zaps" real hard in the temple area.  They only last a few seconds then subside for a short time before they hit again.  I have periventricular leukomalacia of the brain, but headaches is not usually a symptom.  PVL leaves dead areas in the brain.  Has anyone experienced this?  Thanks.

Hi Pegleg,

This could be one of a number of things, just sorry you are experiencing this. I think it would be best to discuss this with your Neurologist.

I am sorry I have not come across PVL, but would like to learn about it.

take care

Ann
