I was wondering if anyone here ever sees black spots on things, like if you were to look at someones face there would be nothing there where their nose is but a black, blurred spot.  Last night something really weird happened, I usually keep a night light in the bathroom, well I turned out the ceiling light and the door was shut, here the night light was burnt out so I was left in the dark for a few seconds, I opened that door and when I looked at the light sitting on the hallway table, it was green, weird.  Is this normal with migraine sufferers?  I have no eye pain, and sometimes my eyes do really weird things and I never get the headache.

Then on the other hand, sometimes I get weird arc shaped things in my left eye periphreal vision, and then bang, I have the right ey pain, it feels like someone is pulling my eyeball out of the socket.

I am worried that I have optical neuritis, but from what I read, optical neuritis lasts for days to weeks, mine only lasts a few seconds.

And taillights on cars will look blurry, no double vision, just the red  lights do something to my eyes that drive them batty.  I can look at street lights, and they are fine, its the red tail lights, anyone else???

I do get migraines, but haven't been getting to many anymore since I started PT on my neck.  Thank you!!!!

Hi Jenny,

Sorry you are suffering with this. My suspicion would be that it is connected with migraine, but I would strongly advise you to talk to your Doctor/Neurologist about this if nothing else to rule out anything else.

Please let me know how you get on, take care

Ann
