I get a low body temperature with my migraines, and was wondering if anyone else has this symptom? I can't seem to get warm for a long time, even after I take my med, Maxalt.

I experience cold too. When I'm in my dark room, I have to be bundeled up under blankets....weird...

yes, whenever I have to go to the doc. with migraines, my temp is like 96 something, but i normally run 97.4. My hands get VERY cold and clammy too.

Whats happening is when you get a migraine, the blood vessels in your head are dialated, therefore the body uses blood from extremities and smaller organs(ex. skin) to fill and flow through the dialated veins.
THis is why so many people suggest Biofeedback, because you learn to increase the temp. in your finger, meaning you are restoring the blood flow, diverting it from the dialated blood vessels

sorry I know its the third post, but I realized I said skin after saying smaller organs, and its the biggest organ the body has, but I think you get my point.
