Migraine Aura???????

Hi, I see sparkles, squiggly white/silver lines, trails, afterimages, and have sensitivity to light. Especially driving at night. The sparkles I see more during the day. I also get flashes of light, and sometimes its colored. This is 24/7. Doctor says this is migraine aura but doesn't migraine aura only last so long...not all day? Can anyone help me...anyone have the same visual disturbances????

I'll be honest. I have the same thing. My doc also said it was an aura, but I agree with you, all day long???? I just have a few small flashes of light in my side vision out of my right eye and nothing else. It is NOTHING like I experience with a migraine aura. I'm on 100 mgs of Topomax now and it hasn't helped the flashes of light at all but it has helped the migrianes and migraine w/ auras. I went totally blind with my last one, that's some scary stuff.
