Ive been extremely stressed out lately...and apparently tension can make migraines worse? How do you all deal with the anxiety that may come along with a migraine? I feel extremely depressed and have chest pain, numbess, and trouble breathing... panic attacks, maybe? don't know what to do VIEW IMAGE its like this headache is consuming my life!!!

Hello Paranoid Girl,

I'm sorry to hear that experiencing a lot of stress. Tension and stress definitely make my migraine headaches worse. I use meditation, yoga and biofeedback as tools to help me relax and minimize the effects it has on me. Deep breathing exercises also help relieve tension and stress. Deepak Chopra sells a biofeedback device call the Wild Divine Journey which works very well. It costs $200 but is well worth it.

I hope you feel better soon. Keep in touch, that also helps relieve stress.
