I went to InstaCare because I have a strange rash.
They have a sign in the window and on the desk that says that do NOT prescribe codeine, lortab and percocet. And they do not treat migraines with shots. So if you are having a flare up, they will not give you an injection to take away your pain.
I didn't need anything for pain when I went in for my skin problem, but was really disappointed when I saw this sign.
I have migraines and it's sad that they are not going to treat people with migraines and won't prescribe anything for pain. So, where are we supposed to go? I guess they would rather us have a stroke they prescribe pain meds.
I guess people were abusing InstaCares, but I never did and I am sure there are others out there that don't.
My experience with ER's are worse. They always treat me like crap. I never ask for a prescription because I am on a pain contract, but they still treat me terrible.
I'm just really disappointed in our society. Why are they punishing everyone for the mistakes of others?
