okay here i go again, i just wrote this and then accidentally hit cancel instead of post, aaahhh. here goes, i have a dr.s appointment on wednesday. i need help with being taken seriously about my headaches. as soon as i mention that they start at the base of my skull they say tension headache and thats the end of it. i have had these headaches since i was 7 years old. they always start at the base of my skull and end up behind my left eye which i tend to squint or close when they get really bad. my head pounds with every heartbeat, sometimes if i'm really still it helps but the instant i move boom boom boom. these episodes usually come and go sometimes lasting up to a week and then i may not have one for a few weeks or even months but here lately it's been more often. i haven't been able to find a pattern. i have had a headache to some degree everyday for the past month and a half. i'm frustrated and cranky. like i said i have an appointment and i want to be taken seriously. any suggestions would be helpful. thank you.
