Non-chemical stress relief can quickly reduce and/or relieve muscle tension within your head and neck/shoulder muscles that can cause or extend many types of headaches and headache pain.

From within the complexities of our own mind, it is possible to control our own chemical and physiological systems. Examples of the power of the human mind have been around for hundreds of years. Even today, in modern western medicine, it is very common for us to hear a doctor or surgeon advising their patients of the importance of their patients’ outlook, attitude and will to fight when facing a major surgery or treatment program involving serious injury or major disease.

In many cultures, including those of the Hindu and Indian, practices such as meditation, yoga, chanting and methodical beating of drums amongst other methods have been used to put the Human being into a higher state of awareness, similar to a hypnotic state. What basically seems to be happening is that these methods and practices, and others like it, are actually assisting our minds to slow us down thus causing us to enter a more relaxed state. The brains level of activity is reduced and therefore the level of stress is also reduced. When the level of stress is reduced it follows that the amount of tension also reduced.
