confused  I am trying yet another preventative (verapamil), and I am told that I am scraping the bottom of the barrel.  Even the Botox that they told me had a 80-90% success rate, didn't work.  I am taking up to 18 Relpax a month, which they say is too many. Has anybody had luck w/verapamil (they told me that it only has about a 10-20% success rate)?

Hi rebek,

Welcome to Healing Well. I have not tried Verapamil myself but some have had good success with it. What other meds have you tried and for how long? Too many triptans can cause rebound headaches but how many attacks do you have each month?

take care

Ann
