Has anyone tried this? I went to my physical therapy appointment today and she did ultrasound on my neck. She said that it helps relax the tight muscles in my neck, which is what causes my migraines. Anyone have this done before? How long did it take to help with the headaches?

My headaches have been better. I had a few days headache free, now they vary from day to day.

I have had this done before. I have chronic neck and shoulder pain which causes serious  headaches.  I used to go to PT and they would do this at the end of the session. It's supposed to warm and loosen the muscles deeply. Deeper than what a massage would do. The first few times it felt good b/c they would go over tight spots and it felt like a pressure point being relaxed. after so long I became used to it and preferred a message. But I believe it helped with multiple sessions. Eventually I stopped going to PT. The chronic pain came back but I'm dealing with that on my own now. But it does work and is a pretty neat tool.
