last night i experienced the worst migraine i've ever had.

it began with blind spots, visuales.. and just progressed into full blown pain. following that i started vomiting so i thought that it would be ending (because it usually subsides after that).
BUT to my horror the visuls were coming back, as was numbness in my arm.

What freaked me out the most was what happened next when i literally was unable to produce speech or the words that were in my head.
I cant help but feel i have something to worry about. it was such a scary experience. is it normal?

I only get migraines once a month or less. but when they happen i feel like dying. i also panic when i noticed the visuales coming on because i know that im in for the long haul.

are there any meds prescribed to calm down the system?

Also, does anyone try to pass out on sleeping meds? is that dangerous because of the vomiting involved?

I hate to say this. But that sounds like many symtoms of a mini stroke or a mild heart attack. Slured speach, numb arm. Ask a doctor about getting on xanax or on a low dose of Valium and mellow out. Sounds like your under alot of stress. I knew a guy that had a panic attack and that caused a heart attack. Passed away at age 42. My headaches also included numbness in both arms and tingling. That's all gone once I stopped eating MSG. Try eating only fresh food for 1 week. No canned or processed or fast food or junk food or candy. See how you feel then. Take care!
