For aobut 2 days now I have had pain that feels like sinus pressure across my nose, though I am not sick, headache across forhead and lower part of back of head.   I feel a little nausesated, Also pain by my ears.   Could this be a migraine.  It came on suddenly yesterday with some sharp pains around eyes that went away but now the headache....I posted on the fibro forum and someone said aneuresym?  scary.....Advil helped a little.

although im not a doctor, it sounds like maybe a sinus inflection or migraine, if it was a aneuresym, chances are you wouldn't be here talking to us

I'm not sick. I don't have congestion, drippy nose. Nothing like that.  I looked up aneuresym and you don't instantly die from an aneursym.  Most commonly you have a slow bleed that causes the pain and then you slip into coma or die.  Can you have sinus headaches with  out the drippy nose or congestion?  Could it be a migraine?

My mom had sinus headaches without a drippy nose or congestion...at least that's what the doc said. Migraines can be really hard to diagnose when they're not classic and this doesn't sound like a 'classic' migraine. If this is the first time you've felt like this, it will be even harder to make a diagnosis. Can you go and see a doctor?

If you're in pain, the best thing to do is see a doctor, particularly if you've never experienced this before. Do you have any other symptoms? Where is the head pain located? You mentioned sharp pains for a while and then a headache. Is this like a normal headache to you or different?

The pain is in the forehead, back of head just above neck, across the nose under eyes.  I have felt the sharp eye pain that it started with before, it doesn't last but a few seconds then goes away.  But the pressure feeling is still across my nose cheek area. I took 3 advil and 2 tylenol earlier and it did help ease the forehead and back of head pain but not across the nose. I'm also having some nausea today no vomiting.  I'm wondering if it has something to do with birthcontrol.  I am on my 5th day of 4th month of low dose pills...In the first and second month of taking them I did get headaches similar but not last month at all...Right now I just don't feel anyother symptoms that warrant rushing to the ER on a weekend since doctor office is not open.  If I start getting weird vision symptoms or a worsening of pain or stuff like that I would definitely go to the ER.  I guess I'll wait and see how I feel tomorrow. Thanks for responding.
