Hi, I started seeing silvery streaks/wavy lines in my peripheral vision. They are silver in color. For example, if I am looking straight they occur to the side but I can see it. Does anyone know what this is or what it could be?

I am far from a dr. but I did the same thing before I would have a migrain. When I started seeing the aura, I knew one was coming. Was always in the corner of my eye too.

That definitely sounds like an 'aura', somethin' you get right before you get a migraine. It can happen days before the migraine or moments before the migraine. Is this a constant thing? Everyday, all day long? Do you even have headaches? I'm no doc, but when it comes to head pain I've been there for a very long time. I'd like to be able to give you more, or better advice but without knowin exactly what else you're goin' through it makes it hard. If you have not yet seen a doc, that would be the first thing I would do. Good luck to you, wishin' you well!

I'm wondering if it could be an occular migraine. My husband gets them when his blood pressure is high. Mr. Type A personality. :-)
He gets similar eye symptoms, and sometimes his vision is so bad he can't drive. The only good thing about it is that he doesn't get the headache or any kind of pain with it. Also, now that his bp is better controlled, it rarely happens any more. Good thing since driving is a big part of his job! :-)
