Hello, i am a 19 year old female and was in a horrible car accident in 2006. I was in the hospital for 3 months on a respirator with tubes out of every orphus of my body. I  suffer from tramatic brain injury. I lost all my short term memory loss. Now i suffer from severe migraines...lately i have been lucky. But this morning i woke up and the left side of my head (scalp mainly) is completely numb. I was hit on the left side in my accident. I am very scared. any information is greatly appreciated.

I would think that would be an indication to get in touch with a doctor ASAP.  Even if there are neurologists looking at this post, without knowing the details of your "severe brain damage," any advice would be guesswork.  Given your history and especially your fear of what the numbness may mean, talk to a physician to hopefully be assured that it's nothing (or be advised otherwise).

Thank you very much. Obviously that is the thing to do. I don't much ejoy little trips to the doctor...there is always something wrong with me. If it is not one thing it is another... if anyone else has experienced this...it would be great to hear from them...thanks again.
