TIREDNESS BEFORE A MIGRAINE ATTACK

hey all, has anyone felt extremely tired where you can not function along with yawning alot before a migraine. i get this alot.it could be annywhere from a week or just a couple of days before the migraine.

wannabbetter, your symptoms of tiredness sound just like mine.  Several days, two days or even the day before a migraine, I will feel exhausted for no reason.  It takes effort just to walk around - an exhaustion like none I have ever felt.  I never related the two things until just a few months ago.  I actually posted on here asking if anyone else had this and wondered if this would be considered an "aura".  I never get the flashing lights, etc. but can say that now I notice the exhaustion and know that a migraine is coming.  Now, when I feel that tiredness, I will start all of my abortive meds.  All of this usually happens in conjunction with weather changes, also.


DX:  Migraines since June, 2006, kidney stones

RX:  Daily - Verapamil, Trileptal

PRN:  Relpax, Prednisone, Dilaudid, Lortab, Lidocaine Nasal Spray

Yes!!! The day before I get one of my horrendous migraines, I am extremely sleepy and yawny and also want to eat constantly.
Complete Hysterectomy 1991 due to Endo

Fibro/IBD

Migraines - bad ones!! Ow.

Save a life - adopt a shelter dog!!
