Welcome to both of you to Healing Well. Sorry to hear that you are both suffering and not getting any relief!
I would point out to you both that we do not have any medical training and can only offer our personal opinion!
Teddjino - You do need to talk to a Doctor about you daily headache, and try and get yourself referred to a Neurologist who is a Headache Specialist! I would not personally be able to recommend a drug as treatment is a very personal thing! First of all you need to establish what this daily headache is all about, and to ask a Doctor for some pain relief, as he will be best to know your personal circumstances!
kissfan1976 - I too have suffered with chronic headache for around 30 years and so understand your feelings about the meds.
Unfortunately is is a sad fact that because these meds are so personal to how our bodies react, it can take a long time to establish which ones works for you!!
If you read my thread on my recent diagnosis (I think it is on page 2 now), you will realise that it is only a couple of weeks ago that I finally got a diagnosis and the correct treatment after 30+ years!!!!
Hang in there, have you tried any of the triptans? It may be worth discussing those with your Doctor, and what preventative treatment have you tried?
