This is my first time reaching out to communicate with other migraineurs ( sp?)
Every level of my life has been affected by migraines. I was a stay at home mom for years and lost custody of my kids ( hopefully temporary) as I go through my divorce 1,600 miles away from my ex..........I can't work, make appointments (other than dr. or therapy) or have anything close to a "normal" life. I am taking Lyrica, Immitrex, Inderal, Niravam, Ambien and going through Chiro, acupuncture, occipital nerve blocks and Botox and have been through the ringer with meds in the past. So far, Lyrica keeps the migraines at bay for the most part but I still get them a few times a week. I am better than I was a year ago but I am not what anyone would consider back to the old me. I still have light and noise sensitivity to the highest degree, head pain, eye pain, neck pain, twitches, loss of strength and tingling sensations down my extremities, mood changes, anxiety and much more.
Life without Lyrica and chiropractic care 3x per week...I cannot even imagine. I wouldn't be sitting here at the library right now - that's for sure!
Anyone relate?
Signing off for now...
Nice to meet you. Sorry we're all suffering from migraines. sad

Hello :) I hope that by reaching out you find some sort of comfort. I know that it's always nice for me to be able to talk to someone that can really understand what it's like. not just people who say "oh, I know how you feel" when they really don't. It looks like I've tried everything that you have, but I haven't really found any relief at all. I really hope everything works out with your kids, I know that stress like that really doesn't help with migraines at all.
