After suffering from a gripping one-sided headache for over a year (and being mis-diagnosed with migraines, paroxsysmal hemicrania, depression and more) I finally found relief through physical therapy.

My headaches were caused from a few of the vertebrae in my neck which were locked and pinching the nerves and blood flow to my head and giving me the headache. After a lot of pain, heartache, medication, side-effects, lost productivity, and even suicidal thoughts, the simplest form of treatment got rid of the headaches and gave me my life back. Please consider investigating this through a simple physical examination of your neck and shoulders. I hope this info helps someone out there!

Hi headachesurvior, I'm going through this right now. Just had a mri on my neck and it showed spurring in my neck. I've had the worst migraine today, and usually have at least 3 a week, sometimes daily. I also have a bad back, so am going to start some therpy soon. What kind of pt did they do for your neck? I'm wondering if my neck has caused my migranes for the last couple of years.

Congrats,

Mercyme

Ouch

Glad to hear something that works well for you. I cringe a bit to see/head the word cure....since it is not the answer for everyone.

Stick with it and glad it is working for ya!

I am happy for you! 1 year of suffering like that and to find relief is definately something to be happy about! Congratulations.

There's always a thing called hope in any horrible situation. Your story brings hope.

I hope for continued relief and you'll never have to feel a migraine pain again.
