I have been having Theses  FIRE like...  headaches, although I shun almost to call them a head ache
they are not even close to that. and I get migrains,  so I know what head aches are.
I wanted to let you know, I have been having a lot of pain this week,    My  Message Therapist told mr to get some ice on my "Heated head";after she worked on neck & head,  my head was letting off some incredible Heat ( something about spinal fuild having too much lactic acid.?)  Prob due to Spinal Chord being compressed?
.. my head feels like it is on Fire litterally, not your usual headache or pain/ ache. As  well as lower back  Burning pain  right in the center , which indicates to me its  spine.   I called my doctors yesterday afternoon, when I was  having trouble with the pain,  her secretary said she has no openings until next week,  I was told get to Emergency if i cant take the pain or it gets worse
Im  thinking of going to Hospital instead.  My body is also having trouble regulating my body temp, I go from cold chills to being so HOT I think IM going to combust. and have had confusion along with it .  ( not that the  EMERG docs  will know what to do, but maybe they  do understand nurology ,
I dont just want a pain killer to mask the pain,..  my  head is ON Fire inside... ,
(Is it because of something wrong with spinal fuild, I'd say let's find out .....  get it  regulated to normal  somehow)
I spoke with a Nurse last night at my workplace , who had  had  injury to neck from car accident,  she had same type symptoms years ago.. and said  her regular docs  did not understand
it wasnt till she saw the  Nurologist, who explained to her  a nerve was being compressed, and  normal functions where  being  hindered...
Yesterday while I was being treated at Message therapy
( I have DDD, Spinal Stenosis,L4L5 and above... to mid back  osteo arthristis... Slipped disc, buldging,... )//   severe pain started Aug 3 rd, 2007
But  have had  back problems before in 2003- 2004  not knowing the full diagnosis,   I did not have medical coverage then so I did not ahve any THERAPIES to help with PAIN.
I was onVIOXX ..... , which  I had horrible side effects on  then  Bextra , which  aliveated pain, I could function & work,
BUT now...     Im NOT doign well, even my sight is off
when I type I have to reread what I typed,  IM  mixing up letters  a lot...
I just want help,  ADVICE
and this FIRE to go away in my head

They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their Strength, they shall mount up on wings as eagles, they shall run & not grow weary, they shall walk & not faint..."  Ish   40 v. 31

You need to be taking treatment advice from a headache specialist, not a massage therapist or a friend who is a nurse.
DX: NDPH, Recovered CRPS
RX: Lamictal, Abilify, Verapamil, Provigil, Clonazepam, Ambien CR, Rozerem, Emsam, Namenda
PRN: Haloperidol, Zyprexa, Lodine, Zofran, Oxycodone
