Hi Zack,

Welcome to Healing Well. Sorry to hear you are having a rough time with your headaches. We do not have any medical training here so we are not able to diagnose, but we can make suggestions from our own experiences.

But from what you tell me it does sound like a form of migraine, have you seen your Doctor? If so what has he said it is? Are you taking anything when you get these attacks? If so what are you taking?

If you have not seen a Doctor please make sure you see one as soon as you can, maybe ask to see a Neurologist!!! Please let us know how you get on?

take care

Ann

Hi.  I get numbness with my migraines, on one side of my body.  It's my face, hand and arm that get numb and tingly.  It's usually with the migraines that are more severe.  It usually lasts a day or two.  I don't get the Aura though.  It's not fun. .you may want to make sure your doctor gives you a CT scan just to make sure that the numbness is just caused by a migraine.

Hi Zack22,
I get numbness and aura with my migraines. Migraines can do strange things. And I agree with Heatherlee It is not fun. You should ask your mom or dad to take you to go see your doctor and see if this could be migraines and just get checked out. He/she might order test like an CT scan or an MRI, but don't worry they don't hurt. They just look at your head through a scan while you lay down. If might not be a migraine too, there are other things that can cause this. Believe it or not, if you don't drink enough water you can get visual distubances and tingly. Good luck and let us know what happens
