It is really hard to describe this feeling, but sometimes I feel like I am in a fog.  Like I am totally out of it.  I find it hard to concentrate and expecially drive.  Is this a symptom of MS?  Is there a name for this symptom?  I have so many other symptoms too like pain, weakness, fatigue, etc.  Lately the muscles in my neck and back have felt like they are tied in knots and someone is pulling on them.  It hurts so bad!  I am on 2 different medicines for the nerve pain and the pain is still there sometimes.  It is so hard waiting to find out what is going on!  I am hoping the Neurosurgeon I am going to see will have some insight to what is going on.  I am just waiting for my insurance to approve the visit!
Thanks for you advice/comments!

The mental confusion -- sometimes we'll call it "brain fog" -- can happen with MS. I have had to stop "multi-tasking" because of it; I can only do one thing at a time. If I'm driving, I can't be listening to the radio, or carrying on a conversation with a passenger, or eating, or drinking...just DRIVING, for example.

I hope you get some answers soon for your difficulties.
