neuro ordered mri (none since 2006) because i had major flare beginning around the holidays where i had double vision and pain. scared the heck out of me. figured mri would reconfirm ms, but brain had some new secrets. seems i have a meningioma plus a new growth. more white plaque, but some evidence of possible stroke and/or blood vessel problems. thought a dx of ms was the end of this. see neuro on thurs. and hoping for reassurance. linda

Hey Linda,

I am sorry to hear this!!  Is that the report from radiology??  I have one lesion that always comes back as a "vascular" problem but my neurologist says it is my largest lesion.  Its location directly coorelates with my symptoms and clinical exam.  Try not to worry too much about your report until your doctor takes a look at it.  My doctor takes my report, reads it, then does her own report after spending some time with my MRI.  She does this right in front of me on her computer and I find this so helpful to fully understand what is going on in that noggin of mine.

Take good care and let us know what the doctor says.  We are all thinking of you.

Love and prayers,

Hi Linda,

I’m so sorry you’re such having a rough time. You certainly have enough on your plate without these kind of new complications. I wish I had something I could say that would help, but just know we are all here for you not matter what. Hang in there, and let us know how you are, and how your appointment goes.

I hope your neuro is able to give you some idea of what exactly all that means, when you have your appointment with him. Take care.
