Hi everyone!  Just thought I would drop a quick note and let you know that I am thinking of all of you.  I am having a good time playing with my niece. Plus, the weather has been really nice here except for one day of storms. so I am escaping all of the snow back home.  Tried to get tickets for the Obama/clinton debate this thursday but only 100 are available through a lottery.  bill was here on saturday night.  We drove past the hq's where he was appearing but there were several hundred people there.  Hilary's campaign hq is located in one part of austin next to a "gentlemen's club."  LOL

I am fighting a cold right now and am rather tired so I can't really tell if the tysabri is having any effect on my energy.  I think I may be walking slightly better? I am also experiencing pain in my right eye and saw some strange spots last week. I also have occasional blurriness so I may be experiencing my first bout of optic neuritis.  I have not called my neuro since I am not at home and do not plan to use steriods.  I will call a few days before I fly home next week.  I will miss you all in chat.

On another note, I do know a few faculty members at Northern Illinois University.  I have dealt with some disturbed students in the past but have never felt threatened.  This past year has really had a negative impact on the academic environment.  Please keep everyone there in your thoughts.

My brother is an alumni (alumnus? graduated from that school, several years ago) and he's quite dismayed at the events there. So very tragic.

Take care. Having a cold is never a good thing.
...I am not a doctor, nor health professional, and don't pretend to be one, here.....
