steroids therapy and scooters

Just had to post an up-date I am starting my steroids mon.tues.and wed. at home...The physical therapist is coming today also to try to get some strength. An occupational therapist is coming in too for tremor work. And the scooter I checked out a power chair and a scooter.I am defenitly leaning towards a scooter. The scooter I tried out I was a little to Long for-- my height was a problem for the small one Not that I am gigantic but I am taller than the avg. 5'4--5'5  I am 5'8--5'9 so I need a little more leg room...My weight was not a problem (thank goodness).A little over 2 months ago I couldnt get anybody to help me now my head is spinning..For the good..What a difference a Good home health care agencey can make!!They are taking care of everything for me (one less worry).....barb
diaganosed 1983
avonex once weekly
steroid infusion every three months for three days
mycoline three times a day
fosamax once a week
bladder meds. daily

I'm so glad all that is working out for you. Yes, getting good care that you have confidence in, makes a huge difference.
