i have noticed this wierd thing, i've been haing this achy tired feeling right under the bend of my arm.  as i touch it it feels like theres a lump of swelling right under the bend, its the wierdest thing but you can run your hand up my arm from the wrist up and then all of a sudden run into this bump, it goes the whole length of the bend.  do any of you have this, i've asked all my family and none have it and when they feel it they can't figure out what it would be.

i thoght at first maybe it was a muscle that has hardened, but why would that happen and if it is what causes that?

also, wondered if any of you suffer with insomnia, i do except when i get my spells, then i can't get enough sleep, any time of day.  now though i can't get to sleep till 6 am and then i only sleep for 4 hrs.  i feel exausted but cannot sleep.

any info will be helpful on these 2 issues.

Domanique. I have arm weakness and tremors. I think that everyones explanation or interpretation of what they experience might be different. Insomnia.....hmm yup! right now it is 2:44am! I usually do OK but during the day Iam sooooo tired and I always take benadryl or something to sleep. sleep is crucial. Tonight is just a bad sleep night so I am going to try to get some shut eye in a min. I have no issue falling asleep just staying asleep...
Again I reccomend maybe starting again from the begining. Not going to your regular GP just making a complete fresh start so there is no history...if your insurance will allow...also check out other options too...check the lyme forum look at the check list...look at the fibromyalgia forum dig around and research a little but start the whole process again until you have answers :)

Hugs,

Carolyn

Domanique,

I don't know about the lumps, but the whole left side of my body is severely weak. It's to the point that when I try to pick things up, my hubby has to do it for me now. I can't even go to the store on my own anymore.

The sleep thing...I just have one question...What is sleep? I have severe insomnia. If I sleep 4 plus hours a night, I'm lucky. I only average 3 to 4 hours every 24. When the fatigue gets really bad, I have to take lunesta, but I have been on it for so long that I can only take it about twice a week. I have learned yoga breathing and that helps with my sleep patterns.

As for finding an answer about the lump, you can ask at fibro, but I am a mod over there. I haven't seen anything on it about a lump in the arms. But then again most times, if you ask you do end up finding someone with the same or similar symptom.

I hope you find your answers soon.

Heather
