I have really tender spots on my right side of my back it is sorta in the middle of the right side and it goes around to my right side into my stomache. Not too long after this pain started my right leg seemed off balance. after a day or so i am having to walk with a walker. the pain is still in my back and side. Also in my stomache area on the right side it is numb feeling. waiting on another mri results from friday on my spine. i already have 3 spots on my spine. also where the back pain is it is swallowen this is all very strange to me. My right foot is cold alot. it is true MS is so unpredictable. ever since i was dx in may 2008 i have had 1 good day since but before then in feb. until now i still have only had 1 good day. i remember it perfectly me and my mom spent the day together. there is nothing like a great mom and a wonderful husband. thanks for any response .

You are so lucky to have a great Mom to spend time with. I hope you have another good day soon. I am glad you have the support of your husband. Right now they are working me up but found lesions on my MRI. I really feel exhausted and have no energy it is hard to even go to the appointments.

yikes sorry about what you are going through. i got it easy so far and ive had MS since 2001.  good news is they have new meds coming out all the time for MS.  My next door neighbor has had MS for over 20 years and is in her middle 50s. When i was a young kid and even till last year, she was always in a wheelchair.  Now i was told, shes on some new medicine, and can walk with just a cane.  They say its a progressive disease, but then how do you explain my next door neighbor.  I have to find out the name of the medicine shes on, and whatever treatments.but i havent talked to her in a long time.  I had to move back with my parents, so i'll ask them to find out.  Medical technology is improving rapidly, just hang in there, im optomistic that good times will come for everyone with MS.
I hope you will have alot more good days soon, and sorry you got hit so hard in such a short period of time.  Be happy you do have a loving husband and a great mom.  I still miss my long term ex.  She left me for good reason.  Now mommy needs to help me out again lol.  I recommend taking vitamin b complex vitamins, if you dont already.  Also i use a vitamin b12 spray when feeling a bit fatigued. you just spray it in your mouth, instant energy without any crash.  Hope you feel better very soon.

This is tragic.  I am so sorry that you are so sick.  Please hold on!  This disease cycles and good days are coming!  I flared 3 times in the first ten months of my diagnosis.  Now I have gone over a year without a flare.  I have many good days and you will too.  Just rest as much as you can and ask for something for the pain.  Pain just wears you out and without that critical rest, you will take much longer to heal (as much as we can heal from this).
Support from others is so important for newly diagnosed.  Try to ask for all the help you need especially emotional help.  I am sure your mom and husband want to do all they can for you.  Good luck and do take good care.
