Hi y'all it's been awhile, but I really need to know if anyone has had this happen in any way or forum but at times my wife tends to put the heat way up high in the truck and I do at times have problems after turning down the heater on the way back home but at that time I'm all ready burning up and feeling real bad inside that I have to put the windows down and at times I'm sweating like a pig from it from being over heated and feeling like crap that I end up having to put my head out the window just to cool off but it seem's to happen the most when it's the coldest time (like -30 below or colder) here in Alaska and I'm just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them

But right now I'm seem to be having a flare up where both my hands are at the point of being numb, and having a hard time just useing them with a few other things going on as the weather is changing

I have had so many testing done lately with mri's blood work and you name it with both my pdoc and nero that they are now looking into ms as the reason for my problems with DDD in my c-spine but is just inpending on my cord right now but I'll cut this short for now and I hope that y'all my have some input on this thank's

Hey Cowboy,

It is good to hear from you again.  I know that many of us with MS have heat sensitivity.  I get very "drunk" in heat.  If my body temp increases even a half degree I am pretty miserable.  I stagger around and have pretty severe fatigue.

Try to be patient as your doctors sort things out for you.  I know you have been investigating MS for a while now.  If you have anything wrong with your back, that can complicate testing and results for MS.  What appears like MS could be nerve damage of another sort.

How are your horses?  Mine is doing fine, he is 19 now but still sound and fit.  I dreamt about horses last night.  It is rare that I remember my dreams.  My horse was being naughty in my dream.............hahahahahahah serves me right.

Hey Cowboy!

Good to see u again too! I'm a very cold natured person. I am wondering if u'r wife may be too. Are u overheating because the heat is WAY up (yes, i understand that the cold there prob doesn't equate to the cold i'm familiar with and she may just be trying to make it a bearable warm.)? What i'm getting at is if there needs to be a bit of a medium for the two of u maybe u can ask her to just go as high as she MUST and at the same time u take along a cold drink. The key in all of this is to keep the body's core temp under control. So, if u cool from the inside out u stand a greater chance of that. If u notice, sticking u'r head out the window or other such external things helps immediatly on the surface, but once that cool is taken away u feel that heat again. Try this and see if it helps. Sip on that cold drink as u ride with her and at the same time keep that heater as low as she can take it. U know cowboy, we women love to get our way, but we also love our cowboys and are usually happy to do what they need.
