I am finally feeling better excpet for a creepy-crawly feeling in my spine, not a tingling, but almost like a snake is moving right along my spine.  That is my best description.  I have not been dx, but have had major symptoms and feel like the doctors get tired of my calls.  Should I bother them about this, or just deal and wait until something major happens?  Has anyone ever had that feeling and know what I am talking about?  I used to think it was posture related until everything happened this summer.

Thanks in advance, this board is very helpful even though I do not have a dx.  I feel like I can most relate to this even though I realize I may not have MS...

Hey Aggiemom

Well with anything neurological there can be numerous sensory things going on. If u've had lots of 'creepy crawlies' in the past the chances of this being one of them is good. I'd say wait and watch unless it's totally out of the realm of what u've ever experienced. I'm not dx'd and i have lots of sensory stuff. I usually just know its there and unless it hurts or is severe and very odd, i leave it alone and just keep going. If it bothers u or frightens u, i'd call or if it's painful, but most likely u'r doc will not be able to do anything to stop it. Take care friend.

Hi there, snakes eh!!!! Yes I know what you mean - I don't get the feeling up and down my back, but I get them on my forehead and cheeks. I spent all summer swatting bugs off my face, when in fact there are none.  To me if either feels likes ants crawling around or a fly just landed and is walking around on my face. I tried bug spray, but for some strange reason it did nothing - just kidding....

It use to drive me crazy, but now, aw what the heck, just another creepy crawly feeling one gets once in awhile. At least I still know that I have feelings in my face - ha!

Have a nice day

the snake crawing withen the surface of the skin...!!!!! i know exctaclly wht u're talking abt...
i have experencd it 2......
and i know the reason as i am vipassanna meditator...
in this kind of meditation 1 doesnt concentrate on any symbol, word or object
1 goes deep within 1self and observe whts going on inside and as we do it the layers in mind
comes out as the sensation... as it arrives 1needs to jst observe and do not hate it or love it
as its the law of universe whtever starts must end.. finally this sensation gets over revoming the layers of mind.... leaving us feel lighter.......
now this comes only from the experience of  deep meditation...
dnt worry u must have been meditator in ur previous life
cheers..:)

Hey Mybutterfly

Ummmmm..... huh??? What are u talking about???? I'd suspect this is related more to the neurological issues going on here (MS) than it is to some previous life... given that this is a forum for MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS and not for previous life exploration! Thanks so much for u'r attempts to shed some light on our minds, but honestly, this is a space taker. Please feel free to post relevent information pertaining to MS. O and welcome to the board!

mybutterfly,

This is a forum of support for people who have MS.  Your response seems to make light of the very serious nature and symtpoms of MS.  The people posting here are not talking about meditation.  They are upset and concerned about the neuro-sensory symptoms they are experiencing and are looking for support.  Your post could be seen as insensitive and insulting.

Perhaps you could post on a board that more suits your interests.
