I been woundering if I have ms. Here are my systoms  ringing in my ears, mussle and joint pain, dry mouth, tired all the time, bluurred vision, shortness of breath, memory loss, mood changes, and I don't feel like doing anything. I also have ulcerated collities. But these systoms don't go with my uc flares. I also had a flare with these systoms three years ago. Dr thought it was ms at that time. But no leasons showed on the mri. One more thing everytime these systoms come back they get worse. ps please excuse my grammer my brain feels fried.

Hey Jeff

Welcome to the board. No one here is a doctor so we can't tell u if u have ms, but we can try to advise u from our experience and understanding of this disease. Some of u'r symptoms do sound like they could be ms, but many of them don't. Did u see a neurologist three years ago or was it u'r pcp? Maybe seeing a neuro this time would be the best next step. Hang in there friend. See that neuro and let us know what he says.

yes I have seen a neuro. He said I was fine because my mri was clear. So I learned to live with the systoms. But now they have come back worse than ever. I also realise ther no doctors here. I am just looking for ideas. Some more of my systoms is I get mirgrians now and I never had them before. See I wonder if you could have ms with out leasons.Because my blood work could look fine but my colon could be inflamed

Hey Jeff

Since u'r last mri was three years ago, i'd ask for a new one with all the symptoms u'r having and the fact that they are worsened. I have had all the classic ms symptoms, but pass nearly all the tests (that is they are clear or neg) and have a clear mri. I also started getting migraines after all this began and have never had them before. I don't have ms, but there is something neurological going on. U may be in the same position as me. Sometimes getting answers takes a long time. Don't give up. Yes, u'r symptoms could be ms, but again, they could be many other things as well. Have u been tested for lyme? I don't know which way to tell u to go now. I guess in u'r position...where i've been....i'd keep pushing and keep letting the docs know of all u'r symptoms. If they worsen or if new things crop up...get it noted in u'r record. Have a new mri done of u'r head and spine and get copies of all the results and mri films. And take care of u'rself....get some relief for u'r symptoms if u haven't already. There are so many meds that can help u and no one needs or deserves to suffer with things that can be helped. The fatigue can be helped with meds like Provigil. The migraines can be helped with many diff meds, u may need to try an anti inflammatory for the muscle and joint pain. Get u'r doc to working for u friend. Don't just take this and keep going and learn to live with things u don't have to. Take care and please keep posting and let us know how u'r doing.

Hey Jeff,

I am sorry you are not feeling well.  You have gotten some good advice from Rhonda.  I would tend to agree.  You need another MRI.  If there are no lesions then try and get some symptom relief.  MS is very hard to diagnose and it mimics lots of other diseases.  Check out this site for more information.  I hope you are better soon.
