I saw a video clip of someone who had a device that she strapped on her calf and it activated the muscles and enabled her to walk. I think this is called a NESS L300 and corrects foot drop. Has anyone tried one? Does it help? I am looking for something that will activate the thigh muscle so I can climb the stairs in my house. :-)

Hi again Popsie,

The Ness L300 is a product for foot drop only.  It only works on the muscle that lifts your foot.  It won't to anything for a thigh muscle.  My niece happens to work for the Bioness company that makes the L300.  It is a great product for foot drop but it is very specific.  It will not help your thigh.  As I said in your other post, you may have to reduce the baclofen through your pump.  You may also want to ask for physical therapy.

You may want to look into a lift for your stairs.  I know that if you qualify the NMSS, MSAA or other charities may pay for lift.  Let us know if you find a solution.
