It is really up to you.  It really depends upon how you react to climate and temperature.  Most people with MS are heat sensitive, however everyone is different.  Some suffer with spasticity and pain when it is cold.  Others become weak and dizzy in excessive heat.

I agree witth Gretchen, it depends on how you feel toward hot weather or if you can handle the cold. For me, the hot is just to much for me, but the cold weather is ok. Don't know exactly why but I can handle cold more than heat.

it seems everyone needs the benefits of the sun for vitamin d, and its said that more people in the north get ms due to low levels of vit d; however once you have ms, most people say heat in general tires them out. you can always supplement witth vitamin d3.

Hello Jerrehow:

For me, it is the heat and humidity of summer that kick my butt.

So that is why you do not see me much in thev summertime.

What bothers you the most...heat or cold?

Hi!

The heat is my worst enemy and my ability to walk decreases massively.  I would suggest a climate that is sunny with moderate temperatures.  Not too cold or hot.  My thought?  California.

I agree with the others- but it is really your choice.

Robert
