Hi All! Im new here.
I have had some things going on for awhile off and on. I blamed it on a vehicle accident at first - Docs say everything is in order. I recently had an MRI on my back. The primary doc was concerned because it showed Hemitoma's in several places. She referred me to a Neurosurgeon. He said it was nothing to worry about. Thank God. But now they want to do an MRI again in 3-6 months due to lesions that were found. The surgeon referred me to a Neurologist. I have yet to see him. My best friends husband has been diagnosed with MS and after speaking with her she says its sounds alot like what her hubby went thru before he was diagnosed. Here is some symptoms I have experienced off and on for about 2 years.
Unable to walk more than 30 - 40 minutes at a time. I feel extreme heaviness in my lower back, hips and it travels to my knees. It is a severe ache for about an hour after I sit down.
My shoulder go to sleep at night (tingly feeling) it wakes me about every morning. After I get outta bed and sit up for awhile it goes away. I have had extreme fatigue off and on as well. I can sit at my desk and literally close my eyes because I am not able to keep them open.
Occasioanlly I get this numb tingling in my left leg that drives me insane.
I have had bouts of anger lashing out uncontrollably. I thought this was PMS and the OB has put me on some antidepressants. It is helping, but not entirely.
I have bouts of not being able to concentrate or remember a thing. It is very irritating. I am only 46 years old and pretty sure it isnt Ahlzeimers yet.
And finaly, I have never been so clumsy and loose my balance like I have off and on in the last 18 months or so. I sometimes think my legs are being controlled by someone elses brain.
So has anyone had any of these symptoms? Just thought I would get a little feed back prior to my first appt with the neurologist.
Thanks to everyone on here in advance! Have a great Friday and weekend.
