Well this is good timing for an MRI. I hope they requested contrast. If this is MS (and I really hope not!!) it will show as an active lesion if you are having a flare. It could rule MS in or out. That might speed you on your way to some answers.
As far as what to do about
the weird sensory stuff, well that is another story. There is really not a lot you can do about
this. Numbness is one of those symptoms that is considered a nuisance. They really don't do anything about
numbness. If it is permanent, you learn to live with it.
