Hi everyone, thought I would drop in again and say 'Hi'. I am doing well, much better than I was last year at this time. I do have a couple questions though.

Yesterday I had the ON eye pain, came fast , lasted a very short time and was gone...since then constant dull headache. In the past when I was diagnosed w/ ON I would have many bouts of the eye pain but no headache. I wondered if headache is common w/ ON?It's not going away. I see my Dr. again in June and have another MRI then, so I may wait it out since this all just started.

Another question I have is has anyone ever had a pineal cyst show up on their MRI's? I did and it was about pea size as I recall. I would have to dig out my old report and look to be sure, but My neuro doc said they will just monitor it for now as they tend to be a common find. When I googled Pineal cyst, much of the info says they are normally benign and not harmful, but can change in malignancy and size.

Okay, other than the headache I am great and bike riding everyday. We have had a few hot days and on thoses days I have to bike real early cause the heat is unbearable for me. ( The thing I loved about winter....no heat, lol).

Oh, did I mention I am going to be a grandma for the first time. My Son and his wife are due late October! I have already started to buy baby things and am planning to paint a cute mural in our spare bedroom. I get to babysit when they are at work. She will only work a couple days a week. She graduates from RN school in June.We are thrilled and excited for both of them! So forgive me for rattling on about it. So proud of both of them!

No cows.....yet. I think we will be by-passing them and have my friends horses back here soon. A friend who raises beef cattle said, you dont just put 2 cows up in your horse pasture, ya gotta pen them up, feed twice a day....watch out for the 'bloat, yadda,yadda,yadda....I just smiled as he spoke with my husband knowing, this would be a turn off ,and hassel to get these darn cows and it would be cheeper to just go buy the beef already processed. HA! So, I think I won that battle. lol.

Anyway, hope your all as well as can be, loves ya~Katie

Hey Katie,

No cows?  What a shame.......that would have been a mooooooving experience.  Hehe......couldn't resist that one.  I would love for you to have horses back though!!!  You know what to do with those!  My guy is finally losing the last of that winter carpet.  I just love brushing a shedding horse with chapstick on!  Ptu, ptu.

I hope your eye thing disappears as quickly as it came on.  Let us know what the neuro says in June.  As always, it is good to hear from you.

Hey girlfriend....yep I am REAL happy horses are coming back and I wont have MOOOOOOING AND PADDYS:). HAHAHAHA, YOUR FUNNY GRETCHEN!!!!!!!

My eyes are fine today, no pain, just this nawing lil headache. BUT I am not letting that bug me. Just went on a 14 mile bike ride on bike trail, so relaxing and cool out today. Did you see my question about the pineal cyst? Do you know of anyone else whos had them or anything? I am just curious as to if it may be responsible for the headaches I have been having? No biggie, if you dont . I will ask Dr. in June . He should be able to tell if it has increased in size when he does the MRI again. Geeze, I hate the MRI's.

Are you itching to ride? I am. My friends, whos horses will be here next month has a sweet walker she lets me exercise and I may even buy her from her. If I do though I am hoping she will let me keep her at her house in the winters in exchange for keeping her other 5 here throughout the summers, that way, hubby and I can travel in the winter when he has more time to and I dont have to worry about feeding her and such. Take care friend!~Katie
