We have not been getting a complete answer to my 15-year-old daughter's health.  When she was 8 or 9 she started getting back pain and legs would hurt.  We were told it was growing pains.  She later started having shooting pains in her head.  MRA showed a very small calcium spot and they said it was fine.  She has weakness in her legs and a lot of times in her arms.  Her hands and feet feel ice cold to the touch while she says she is burning up.  She has hot flashes, but she has also wanted a coat on when it was summer because she said she was freezing.  When her legs go numb like that, she can't walk on them and her dad has to carry her.  She had times of going numb on her whole left side and was told it's hemiplegic migraine headaches.  She just got out of the hospital yesterday because she was not able to urinate (we think it was a couple of days).  They catherized her and got 1200 ccs.  We have not been told of any lesions though.  There is a not of a small cyst of the right choroid fissure, which it says is no significance.  She passes out (we're told it's vasovagal syncope).  She has non-epileptic seizures, periodic low blood sugar, low calcium, low Vitamin D, and high phosphate.  I'm just trying to find out the answers to her health problems.
Thank you for your time.
God bless you..

Hi Vick,
I am so sorry to hear of your daughter's health problems!!  Yes, unfortunately it is possible to have MS as a child.  Your daughter's symptoms are scary but they are not typical for MS.  You are welcome to post here as often as you like looking for answers.  I hope you get answers and good treatment soon!!!!  Your daughter is in my prayers.
